Today I felt led to write about God as our Provider. When I think about society today, I see a picture of a hamster running on the hamster wheel. There’s always a rush to go somewhere, to do something or get something. A people manager once said that you are either the predator or the prey. Why do we allow ourselves to live like that? I couldn’t resonate with his thoughts. My conclusion is I am neither a predator nor am I a prey. I am a sheep in God’s pasture and I depend on God for my provision.
Yes, it’s true that I have a paycheck. However, it is God that enables me to work and gives me the wisdom for my day to day job. I do not wish to live like a hamster constantly running in the wheel. If you allow the world to tell dictate what you need, you may end up lusting after things of the world.
Bible Verse
For god is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.
