Being Still

I came across this song which soothed my tired soul. Sometimes it feels like we’re all rushing with our lives, but what are we really rushing for? People want instant everything (instant coffee, instant tea, instant noodles, etc.. ). From 3G speed before, we’ve moved to 4G and then 5G,..and now people are talking about 6G. I’m sure next will be 7G speed technology. It feels like we’re greedy creatures that can never be content. I’m not referring to complacency. Having a spirit of excellence is commendable. However, I do question the endless chase for higher speed. Being fast at getting things done, will require more things to be done to be faster. (Why am I not surprised?)

While you are busy-ing, don’t forget to take a breather. Don’t neglect time with God. He should get the best of our timeslot and not the leftover.

“Be still, be calm, see, and understand I am the True God.

I am honored among all the nations.

I am honored over all the earth.”

Psalm 46:10 (The Voice)
