In my earlier days as a Christian, I thought idols meant the carved out wooden idols etc. As I got older, it dawned on me that idols could mean anything from the movie star we admire to even our own ministry,…if we place it above God.

Because I enjoy painting, I find that I have to remind myself to always put God first. Without Him, I would not have the talents I have today. Everything is for His glory.

The Lord is a jealous God,
    filled with vengeance and rage.
He takes revenge on all who oppose him
