Peace sounds like a simple word yet not easily attained. It sounds quite paradoxical but I have found that I need to strive for peace. This doesn’t mean living in total ignorance but by accepting these facts. I do not have the power to control what happens and I do not know the future. But God is in control, and He knows the future.
The pandemic has indeed affected many lives, whether it is the actual loss of lives, loss of jobs, and sanity too, perhaps. Like many, I too find myself disappointed by the long dark tunnel we’re all in. Everyone waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel where we can go back to the life we knew before Covid-19.
Especially now, we need to put on love and care and support one another. We need to tell our hearts not to be troubled. We do not know what the future holds but we know that God holds our future. Take God at His word.
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them
Romans 8:28 (NLT)
Bible Verse
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
John 14:1 (NLT)
